Serena Siew graduated cum laude from the University of Southern California with a B.A. in English and a minor in Spanish literature. While at USC, her Shakespeare professor entered her in the William James Undergraduate Writing Competition, where she received first place for literary criticism.
She later earned her J.D. from Southwestern University Law School, where she received a CALI Excellence Award in Writing on White-Collar Crime.
Before practicing immigration law, Serena worked at the Daily Appellate Report section of the Los Angeles Daily Journal. She went on to practice immigration at law firms based in the United States and abroad, gaining experience across a wide range of immigration matters.
